Michelle currently serves as President of the Mile High GIA Alumni Association of Colorado since 2008, and was recently honored as GIA's 2011 International Leadership Award receipient. Michelle serves on the board of the Rocky Mountain Jeweler's Association and is proud to be the first Internet jeweler to earn SJTA Certified Jeweler Status. She is a proud Rotarian, being an active member of the Longmont Rotary Club.
After seven years in corporate management, Michelle founded her first Internet business in 1997. JewelryImpressions.com was established as a division of QMB, Inc. in 1999, OurCustomWeddingRings.com in 2009.
In 2015, Michelle founded the non-profit GemsOfMadagascar.org after visiting Madagascar for a geology and mineralogy tour of the country. GemsOfMadagascar.org is committed to giving grass-roots aid and love in the name of Christ to children in poor villages of Madagascar.
Rahm is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with emphases in marketing and management and a minor in Spanish. She was honored by UWP as an outstanding business alumnus of its College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture in 2003. Michelle was active in helping her alma mater establish an e-commerce curriculum at the school.
Michelle and her husband have an adult son, Joshua, and in her spare time she enjoys playing golf, hiking, watching movies, skiing, gardening, watching football, entertaining, traveling and health and fitness.
